You are right on with your judgement calls, Lindsay, as usual. You gotta do something with Harris, Big Bear, Ozzie, Riley...surely something besides ignoring it is available to those "in the know".
Second and third with no outs, and the Braves cannot score. Its great that Murphy, with a low .200ish average, hits a Grand Slam and the Braves finally get a bit of breathing room with 5a win after a 3 game losing streak. However, the second and third with no outs with the Braves failing to score is an issue that must be addressed.
Yeah, on the postcast last night I worded this as Murphy bailing out a bad offense. People got mad because I seem to want to talk about the negatives even in a win, but I thought it important to point out that the offense was not good, they just got lucky
I meant to talk about that - he discussed with media that he was prioritizing weak contact to get deeper into the game and give the pen a break. I should have gone a bit deeper in his section to mention that; that's on me

Schwellenbach had 19 swinging strikes. I think the highest.mumber I've ever seen him post
Recently he had a start with a lowly 5 swinging strikes.
I remember minor league scouts had doubts about .his future over the swinging strike issue.
