Hey Larry! The money is lower in college baseball than it is in football, but I know firsthand that everyone on Auburn's roster is making at least the cost of attendance and several are making pretty decent money in college. The money's escalating, though; LSU offered two of last year's prep commits a deal where they would match first-round bonus money for whichever one withdrew from the draft and came to campus.
I feel like, for a lot of prep players, it's a little bit harder to sign them because of NIL unless you go farther over slot or they just don't want to go to school.
For the playoff teams, the order isn't just record, it's regular season standings plus postseason finish and revenue sharing status. Essentially, for everyone that lost in the Wild Card round, the teams are sorted by revenue sharing status (clubs that receive payments, like the Orioles, pick before teams that pay in like Atlanta does) and then it goes by regular season winning percentage.
The comp pick formula is based on that, too - Atlanta's pick is farther down than Baltimore's because we were over the CBT last season while the Orioles weren't. Another reason why they could potentially want to reset - both getting a better pick if they give Ozuna a QO (which I wouldn't) and a less severe penalty if they sign a QO guy.
Lindsay ! Do college baseball players make money like the football players while playing ? Keep up the great work my friend . Go Braves !

I don't understand why the Braves aren't drafting 19th instead of 22nd.
The Orioles won more games than the Braves. Yet they're picking 19th, Braves 22nd.
Orioles lose Corbin Burnes, get a 1st round pick.
Braves lose Max Fried get a 4th round pick.
MLB is so corrupt I hope the Players go on Strike
Oh, I've got this.
